It is meant  as a public forum, moderated by an experienced glassblower who  can either answer or forward questions to the members' list for  further information. As time goes on, other glassblowers may join to  share their expertise. Anyone with an interest in glass can join.  The ASGS Technical Q&A List is for ASGS members only, and is for  technical questions and answers about glass and glassblowing. On- line topics can range from, "Where can I find uranium glass?" to "How do I fabricate a borosilicate to quartz seal?" The list is also a vehicle  for 'Position Open' ads. Traffic on this mail list tends towards 10-20  messages per week. The ASGS Events List is for ASGS members only and is for members who only wish to receive e-mail on upcoming events.
